Eliminating Electron Self-repulsion

چکیده
Problems of self-interaction arise in both classical and quantum field theories. To understand how such problems are to be addressed a theory the Dirac electromagnetic fields (quantum electrodynamics), we can start by analyzing these fields. In theory, electron has spread-out distribution charge that avoids some facing point models. However, there remains problem will experience self-repulsion. This self-repulsion cannot eliminated within without also losing Coulomb interactions between distinct particles. But, from electrodynamics gauge fully normal-ordering term Hamiltonian. After normal-ordering, contains pieces describing attraction repulsion particles particle creation annihilation, but no

Coulomb repulsion effects in driven electron transport
We study numerically the influence of strong Coulomb repulsion on the current through molecular wires that are driven by external electromagnetic fields. The molecule is described by a tight-binding model whose first and last site is coupled to a respective lead. The leads are eliminated within a perturbation theory yielding a master equation for the wire. The decomposition into a Floquet basis...
متن کاملHorizontal vectorization of electron repulsion integrals
We present an efficient implementation of the Obara-Saika algorithm for the computation of electron repulsion integrals that utilizes vector intrinsics to calculate several primitive integrals concurrently in a SIMD vector. Initial benchmarks display a 2-4 times speedup with AVX instructions over comparable scalar code, depending on the basis set. Speedup over scalar code is found to be sensiti...
متن کاملDensity-Fitting Approximations to the Electron Repulsion Integrals
Here we will follow some of the presentation from Werner, Manby, and Knowles. 1 Density fitting is a way to approximate the usual two-electron integrals, (pq|rs) = dr 1 dr 2 φ p (r 1)φ q (r 1) 1 r 12 φ r (r 2)φ s (r 2), (1) where we have assumed real orbitals. We may also consider this electron repulsion integral as the repulsion between two generalized electron densities,
متن کاملElectron Transport through Double Quantum Dots with Interdot Coulomb Repulsion
Electron transport through a system of two quantum dots connected in series is studied theoretically with the use of non-equilibrium Green function formalism based on the equation of motion method. Each dot is described by the one-level Anderson Hamiltonian and interdot Coulomb interactions in the form of the Hubbard-like term are taken into account. The electric current and occupation numbers ...
متن کاملTwo - Electron Repulsion Integrals Over Gaussian s Functions
We present an efficient scheme to evaluate the [O](m) integrals that arise in many ab initio quantum chemical two-electron integral algorithms. The total number of floating-point operations (FLOPS) required by the scheme has been carefully minimized, both for cases where multipole expansions of the integrals are admissable and for cases where this is not so. The algorithm is based on the use of...
